Thistles Stirling Grotto

When our friends at Sonus Events contacted us with a unique idea for a COVID-safe Christmas Grotto, our team got straight to work.  The concept was to create an immersive and magical experience where children could embark on a journey to discover a secret portal, connecting them directly to Santa Claus in the North Pole for a live, interactive conversation.  This idea required a seamless blend of technical innovation and creative execution to bring it to life.

Our creative team designed and produced magical video content to bring the attraction to life, while our AV team installed a sophisticated control system that ensured a flawless experience for every visitor.  At the press of a hidden button, a pre-recorded video introduction would play, setting the stage for the adventure.  This was followed by an instant, seamless connection to Santa’s live camera feed, complete with two-way audio to allow real-time interaction.  At the conclusion of the conversation, an outro video guided guests to continue their journey through the rest of the attraction.  Every detail was meticulously planned to ensure a smooth and enchanting experience for all.

The attraction operated for 12 days, maintaining a constant throughput for six hours each day.  Thousands of children had the opportunity to enjoy this magical encounter, leaving with cherished memories of their special moment with Santa.  Throughout the event, our skilled team provided remote support, ensuring that the operation ran smoothly and without interruption.  This project exemplifies our commitment to combining technology and creativity to deliver exceptional experiences.
